Kelly L. Centofanti

Kelly L. Centofanti is the managing partner of Centofanti Law, S.C.  She represents injured persons, and has never worked for insurance companies or other corporate entities.  She handles cases involving medical, legal and other professional negligence, nursing home neglect and abuse, insurance bad faith, motor vehicle and boating accidents, and premises liability.

She has lectured at numerous seminars and Continuing Legal Education programs for lawyers on a variety of substantive and procedural topics throughout Wisconsin.  Kelly has taught at Marquette University Law School and the University of Wisconsin Law School, including several different Trial Skills courses.

She has also served on the faculty of five National College of Advocacy Trial Skills Colleges: Essentials- Houston, Medical Malpractice- Safety Harbor, Depositions- Atlanta, Direct and Cross Examination,- Phoenix and Knoxville

Kelly has spoken at two American Trial Lawyers of America (ATLA) National Conventions, and was a speaker at the 2002 ATLA "Weekend of the Stars" in New York City.



Bio Photo of Kelly Centofanti Kelly addressed a national audience of trial lawyers on the topic of medical malpractice at a special ATLA symposium in Washington D.C. in 2004 and national audiences at two-day seminars on successfully handling nursing home cases, one in Las Vegas in September of 2004 and the other in Albuquerque in 2005.  Kelly also addressed a national audience on the importance of focus groups at a NJ-AAJ seminar in Atlantic City in 2007, and spoke at the "Anatomy of a Personal Injury Lawsuit Seminar" in Scottsdale in 2016.

Ms. Centofanti edits a chapter in the State Bar book, The Law of Damages in Wisconsin, and has had scholarly articles published in trial law publications.

Kelly has served as Chair of numerous State Bar Committees and has been involved in many other committees and boards.  She has served as President of the Milwaukee Bar Association, the Association for Women Lawyers, and the Wisconsin Chapter of the American Board of Trial Attorneys.  She has also served as Secretary of the State Bar of Wisconsin, and chair of the MBA Litigation, Civil Bench/Bar, and Judicial Selection committees.  She has been named one of the Top Twenty Women in the Law numerous times by the Wisconsin Law Journal and has received other honors.

She received her undergraduate degree from Marquette University and was graduated in 1990 from the Marquette University Law School, Magna cum Laude.

Paralegal and Office Manager

Jill has been an integral part of the firm for many years.  She is an experienced paralegal and she also handles administrative duties and supervises the clerical staff.

Prior to joining the firm, she had a medical and customer service background, both of which are very helpful.  The medical knowledge is particularly useful to her when working on personal injury cases.  She was with the King County Emergency Medical Services Department for 14 years.   Her work there included dispatch training in dispatcher-assisted telephone CPR.  She also took part in research regarding out-of-hospital cardiac arrest and co-authored articles published in The Annals of Emergency Medicine.

Jill has a Bachelor of Arts in American Studies from Mount Holyoke College.

Chris has been an important asset to our firm for several years.  She has a strong financial and accounting background, great organizational skills, and friendly customer service experience, which allow her to handle all of the firm’s financial needs.

Prior to joining our firm, she was the Office Manager for a large automotive group in the Milwaukee area and also served as their Human Resources Manager.  She has a banking background along with worker’s compensation, health insurance and retirement benefits experience.  Chris holds an Associate of Arts and Science degree with a focus on business and accounting services

Mindi Antonicci, our newest staff person, has been with the firm for several years.  She has a background in health care.  She also worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant.  In addition, she has worked in a demanding job with detail-oriented bookkeeping.   She uses all of these skills in her job as a paralegal in our office.  Her familiarity with technology has helped Centofanti Law stay on the cutting edge - she helps us stay efficient and organized.
